Uganda operates a fully digital visa system, meaning most travelers apply for an eVisa online before their trip rather than at the border or through an embassy. The standard option for tourism, business, and family visits is the Single-Entry eVisa, which covers stays of up to 90 days. For those planning to visit Uganda alongside Kenya and Rwanda, the East Africa Tourist Visa (EATV) is a smart alternative. One application, one fee, and movement across all three countries.

It is important to note Uganda no longer offers visas on arrival for most travelers. Your Uganda eVisa must be approved before you depart, and you'll need to print your approval and present it at immigration on arrival.
