Madagascar visa policy & requirements
Citizens of any country, except for Burundi and Palestine, need a Madagascar visa.
You can apply either at the airport on arrival or 100% online in advance in the case of the eVisa. The main advantage of applying online is removing any uncertainty: your visa on arrival request might be rejected on the spot, and you might be forced to take the next flight home, losing all your accommodation and activities reservations.
The eVisa covers tourist stays only and is valid for a single entry of up to 15, 30 or 60 days. For stays beyond that, you will need to arrange a visa through a Malagasy embassy or consulate before traveling. You must present a printed copy or show the approved document on your phone at the eVisa counter when you arrive.
