Most visitors to Indonesia can get a visa on arrival, unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries. Citizens from ASEAN nations and a few others can enter without a visa for stays of up to 30 days.

We recommend the e-VOA: it is faster, you skip the airport queues, and you avoid the risk of being turned away on the spot and losing your reservations.
If you need to stay longer than 60 days, plan to work, or your nationality is not eligible for the VOA, you will need to apply for the right visa through an Indonesian embassy or consulate before you travel.
