Most visitors need a visa for Egypt. The majority of nationalities have two options: apply for the eVisa online in advance or get the visa in person upon arrival at the airport.
Specific nationalities can enter visa-free, and travelers staying exclusively in the Sinai Peninsula for 15 days or less can get a free permission stamp. For everyone else, we always recommend the eVisa. It's faster, safer, and means you arrive with everything already confirmed.
