Most visitors need a visa to visit Cambodia, either by applying online in advance or obtaining one on arrival. A small number of nationalities, mainly from ASEAN countries, can enter visa-free for short stays.
For everyone else, there are two main paths: the Cambodia eVisa, which you apply for online ahead of time, or a visa on arrival (VOA), available at major airports and land border crossings. Both cover tourism stays of up to 30 days. Keep in mind that if you opt for the VOA, you will need to bring your passport photo with you from home.

You can extend it into a long-term visa (EB class) that lasts 6 or 12 months. You will also need a work permit issued by the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training.

The Cambodia eVisa is valid for three months, so that is the limit to apply. We recommend applying two weeks before the planned arrival date.
