No, there are no travel restrictions for Armenia. However, it is recommended to avoid the M16/H26 road and the border with Azerbaijan, which is closed.
Yes, you can, but you may not need one. If you are a citizen of the visa-exempt countries, you will not need a visa to transit through Armenia.
If that is not the case and you need a transit visa, it can be issued as single-entry or multiple-entry, and it is valid for 72 hours. You can apply for a 4-day extension with the Passport and Visa Department of the Police of Armenia.
Depending on the reason for the rejection, you can appeal the decision or re-apply with better documentation.
